President Obama today signed in to law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act . As the Jacksonville County Times-Journal reported, the clean energy provisions included in the president’s plan will have significant benefits:"Also, Mr. President aims to get high speed internet access clear across the county, and double our sources of clean energy, saving Americans lots of money, while also allowing us to have less of a carbon footprint on the Earth as our pollution ratings are higher than they have ever been."
Many of the 3.5 million jobs that the Obama administration anticipated will be created as a result of this package will be in the clean energy and green technology industries.
